The second day of the General Chapter was devoted to the following reports: the Unit reports on Mission and Formation, the Generalate report and the Superior General’s report. In the morning, Fr. Mirosław Stanek presented a summary on what Units had reflected in their preparatory chapters regarding the two important issues for the Society today: Mission and Formation. Then Fr. Agustín Van Baelen gave to the delegates a look back over the last six years and introduced them to what has been achieved in the following areas: Salvatorian identity and spirituality, international cooperation, professional development, education and Salvatorian family.

In the afternoon, Superior General Fr. Milton Zonta presented his report in three parts: 1. Overview of the Society’s presence worldwide; 2. Key topics: Salvatorian Apostolic Mission; Vocation Promotion; Internal Communication; Salvatorian Family; Finances and Patrimony; Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation; Beatification Process; Protection of Minors; Institutions under the Generalate. 3. The Society of the Divine Savior moving toward the future: Fr. Milton envisioned some priorities that can guide the Society toward the future:  a) A new paradigm for moving inward: government reorganization and Salvatorian School of Formation; b) A new paradigm for moving outward as a Society which goes forth on an apostolic journey and with an apostolic identity based on our charism. Fr. Milton reinforced these issues and asked the capitulars to be audacious in moving into the future as a renewing presence in the Church. He concluded by saying, “Let us walk together in the footsteps of Fr. Francis Jordan and move forward with serenity and determination”.
